How To Get Ear Wax Out Of Your Ear Easily And Safely
If you ever wondered how to get ear wax out of your ear, you are not alone. Millions of people suffer from having too much wax build in their ears without knowing how to properly and safely remove it. I know I have had some serious build-up before and I have a buddy that’s gone to the doctor several times to have it removed. Cotton swabs may seem the obvious solution, but actually pushes wax deeper into the ear canal and makes it harder to remove completely. There are many natural solutions to get rid of earwax in an easy and more importantly, safe manner.
Ear Candles
Many people have heard of ear candles, but do not know how to get earwax out with them. The ear candling process does require assistance and should not be attempted alone. (Unless you have some type of hot-wax-burning-your-face fetish.) Ear candles, or ear cones, are specialty candles available in most health food stores.

Start by lying on your side, with a pillow under your head, then have the person assisting you place a towel or dishcloth around your ear and over your hair. Have the assistant put a hole in a paper plate and then place the plate over your ear, so the hole in the plate aligns with the entry hole to your ear. Place the tapered end of the ear candle, or cone into the hole of the plate by the ear canal, and then light the candle. This creates a vacuum which will help remove wax buildup in ear canals. The candle can be burned until it is about four inches away from the ear, at which time it should be extinguished by placing in a bowl of water. Use a new candle and repeat with the opposite ear.
Ear Irrigation
Another way to help in cleaning wax from ears is by irrigating them with a solution of one part vinegar, one part hot water and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. The water should be hot to the touch, but not hot enough to cause discomfort. Using some sort of dropper, drip a couple of drops of the solution directly into the ear canal. Allow the solution to stay in the ear for a few minutes. You may feel it foam, or hear it crackle, that is from the hydrogen peroxide doing its work. Once the solution has settled in the ear, drain out and repeat the process on the opposite ear. This can be done two or three times a day until all the wax buildup in ear has been removed.
Ear Wax Dissolution with Paraffin or Mineral Oil
Another home remedy to get rid of earwax is by using any sort of mineral or paraffin oil. Start by gently heating up the oil in a spoon over a candle until it is just slightly above body temperature. Place the warmed oil in a dropper and then lie on your side. You may want to cover your hair, or pillow with a towel in case of any overflow. Drip the oil into the ear canal and let set for five minutes to dissolve the wax. Then rinse it out with warm water irrigation and then repeat on the opposite ear.
Knowing how to get ear wax out of your ear does not have to be a difficult challenge with the above remedies. These can all be done on a regular basis to keep the ear clean and wax free. The ear can be conditioned with a few drops of baby oil, mineral oil or carrier oil to prevent it from drying out after any of the treatments.

A capful of hydrogen peroxide in each ear will eat up the earwax that might be the source of your problem. Drain the peroxide out after a minute or two.
