Arthritis Pain And Joint Pain Relief
Arthritis pain can be very debilitating. This pain is mostly related to one, or more joints. The discomfort and aching may differ from person to person. It depends on where the damage in the joint is located. It may even vary from joint to joint in the same person. And, since people have different pain thresholds some of us can deal with pain better than others.
But one thing is always the same for everybody that suffers with arthritis pain. And that is inflammation, accompanied by swelling, redness and stiffening of the joint. Whenever damage occurs, anywhere in the body, our immune system will send down white blood cells. These cells contain chemicals that will attempt to fix the damage. And wherever there is a gathering of white cells there will be inflammation.

Arthritis pain really develops over time. There might be damage inside the joint, caused by a break or damage to a ligament or tendon. During the healing process there might be a fine fragment of bone that does not align properly. Or a ligament doesn’t heal properly and cannot stabilize the joint anymore. The joint will not be balanced and starts deteriorating.
It will start gradually, the arthritis pain. In the beginning you’ll only feel discomfort first thing in the morning when you start moving the joint. Once you got it moving the pain will stop. But the pain will slowly get worse and you might decide to see a doctor.
A doctor may at first tell you to take some over the counter medications like Tylenol or Aspirin. They can really be hard on your stomach. Especially when you take them for an extended period of time.
Eventually he will give you a prescription for Celebrex or Vioxx. These drugs may have really nasty side effects. Maybe only a small percentage of people will experience these side effects. I do not know about you, but I am not wanting to take the risk of taking them.
There are natural products that can help you. For instance: Green lipped mussel extract has helped thousands of people to manage their pain.
