An electric juicer is a good choice over a manual juicer because of the ease of use and the time it saves, and many electric juicers can juice much more than just oranges and grapefruits. Though they are more expensive than manual ones, the time saved and the amount of juice obtained from one of these makes them very cost efficient.

There are a number of electric juicers on the market and they range from simple citrus juicers to appliances that accommodate the juicing of whole fruits and vegetables. Depending on the needs of the consumer as well as the budget, there is a juicer to fit anyone’s needs.

A big factor is what type of fruit (or vegetable) will be juiced. Is it needed for only citrus juice? Perhaps the consumer wants to use any fruit or vegetable, including grapes, apples, celery, carrots, peppers, anything imaginable, even those with seeds or skins. The seeds and skins, though often thrown out, have many health benefits. Once they are run through the juicer, they no longer retain the tough texture and they can become part of the juice.

Many people do not consume as many servings per day of fruits and vegetables as is recommended. With a good electric juicer machine, it can be a little easier to do. Instead of eating all of those servings, the vegetables and the fruits can be juiced to become a healthy snack or breakfast. An electric juicer can make all of this possible.
