Many vitamins are found in common juices we drink everyday. Some juices contain the minerals necessary to bring the PH balance of our skin to average levels. An off PH balance in the skin can often be a cause of acne breakouts. By making sure you are getting enough vitamins in your diet, you may reduce your chances of having an acne breakout.  You can get many of these nutrients by drinking common juices that are readily available at any grocer!

Many of the juices are full of vitamins, minerals, and water, which can help clear skin breakouts or prevent them from occurring. Lemon Juice is great because of its ability to reduce and expel acidity in the skin. Many people cannot eat a lemon by itself, but can squeeze an entire lemons juice into a glass of water. This has a pleasing taste and can help better the acne condition. Acai juice is also a popular acne treatment. It has the anti-inflammatory agents that can reduce and even prevent acne flare-ups. This is a pleasant tasting drink, and is available mixed with other juices such as apple and cranberry. The acai benefits are not just for acne, but also many other health conditions. Orange juice is another great juice to reduce acne. It is packed full of vitamin C, which is great for skin health.

More great choices for acne treatment with juice would be strawberry juice, grapefruit juice, and prune juice. All of these contain vitamins and minerals that have been proven to be great for the skin.

The best way to drink these would be if you can squeeze the juices out of the fruits yourself. If that is not possible or feasible, buying the pre-bottled juices will still give you benefits. The main factor in reducing acne is to make sure that your diet is full of nutritious foods, and you can get a lot of that daily nutrition in by drinking healthy juices!
